I have the Samsung R355C, on my old phone I could send up to 5 pics in 1 picture text. I was just curious if you can on the Samsung phone or if you just have to send one pic at a time?!

You can download ringtones directly to your phone from the browser of your phone! You just got to know where to look and do a lot of searching! You can send music with a text message too but it has to be short or a certain data size! You can even download gif images from google images that move but not all of them work. I recommend buying an 8gb micro sd card or a 16gb for this phone since it has a music player. It can play wav,midi,mp3 tones and can play complete songs as a ringtone. I found a tone of looney tunes sounds on one website and downloaded them all to my phone from the browser and have them as ringtones now.It would be easier if you had a computer to convert songs to mp3 format and put them in the ringtone section of your phone.Plug your phone to your computer with a usb cord and go to my computer and you will find your phone in the removable storage section and figure out what drive its in then you will see all the folders of your phone like my images, my music, my ringtones. I have done everything I'm telling you here. Some sites may not work when trying to download ringtones so I go to the bottom of the site and click view site directly and sometimes that works but your phone may say the site is to big and mess up but sometimes I get lucky!

I am a single mother on a very limited income; i saved for a while before i finally had enough to purchase this phone. I FEEL VERY MISLED. i am not able to do any of the things i thought i was gonna be able to do with this phone; or is it the provider? No video, VERY LIMITED access to websites, can't send texts with music, and if i try to do one more thing that tells me UNSUPORRTED FILE, UNSUPPORTED ATTACHMENTS, or EXCEEDED FILE SIZE i'm going to scream!!! in addition to what i paid for the phone itself, i have to purchase cords, cards,adapters-just to be able to get ringtones and music.(over $50)and can't download anything straight from the phone,REALLY?! I don't own a computer so this is a huge problem for me. I could do more with my $15 phone than i can with this!

sorry but i have to comment on the starting out with single mom to get simpathy. If you are so concerned being a single mom with limited income then why are you concerned with buying frivolous music and ring tones. Shouldn't that money be saved and used to buy your kids what they need or paying rent, making car payments, buying better quality food, signing them up for team sports, instead of wasting money on ring tones, and music. the radio is free and who cares what your ring tones sounds like - cute but completely unnecesssary. Quit wasting your money on unnecessary items and practice what you are preaching and take care of the kids needs instead of your unneeded wants.

You obviously didnt research this phone at all...it doesnt do all the things that a far more expensive smartphone can do..this is designed to be a very basic prepaid service without all the extras..if you want all that stuff, try and afford a verizon phone (hundred bucks a month) and 2 year contract to get all that extra stuff like video or music files to send or receive..in other words it was never meant to be more than a qwerty phone that will text and send picture messages!

The Speed-Dial option on the Samsung R355C has a limit of 32 characters. When making International calls using a calling card, I need to enter a Total of 38 Characters in the format shown here(dashes don't count) [ xxx-xxx-xxxxPPxxxxxxxxxxPPxxx-xxx-xxx-xxxx# ] There is a 10-digit access phone number + 2 pauses; 10-digit PIN + 2 Pauses; then the 13-digit Inernational phone number plus a # .
On All other phones I've owned, the entire string is entered under One Speed-Dial Number(such as 99). Is there a method to overcome the 32 Char. limit when entering a Speed-Dial "String", or a way to combine More Than One Speed-Dial Number on the Samsung R355C phone?

For you users of straight talk with this phone: how long does the 30 MB last? Im trying to decide on the 30 plan or the 45, I dont want to run out of browsing, I guess it wouldnt charge you extra like Verizon, it would just say NO because its a prepaid. hmmm thoughts or experience?
30 mb is a considerable amount and is more than enough for the average user. All of today's popular sites have mobile versions which are optimized for mobile devices thus reducing bandwidth demands. It really all depends on what you do. That being said, the cool thing about Straight Talk is that if you find 30 mb is not enough, you can always upgrade to the unlimited plan at any time without paying additional fees. As far as exceeding the 30mb limit, you are correct, you will not be charged extra. You simply will not be able to browse once you use up the limit.

You, are the JERK, jerk. YOU come off as a total a-shole! You do not need to even read a post and certainly not to post a reply. You act as though you did not receive a proper standard of conduct as you were growing up or it's just in your nature to be a total smarta-s, and any type of upbringing wouldn't have helped your nature one bit. your reply was uncalled for.

Is there any way to type more than one page at a time in a text? For instance, your only allowed to type 160 characters in a text message then I have to save it to drafts and finish typing in a new message. Is there any way to fix this or am I going to have to keep doing it this way?
