Are You Missing Your Free Monthly Safelink Minutes?

Your free Safelink minutes are typically automatically issued to your phone every month via over the air transaction so there is usually nothing you need to do to get them. But what if you are missing your free monthly Safelink minutes? Don't worry because there is a simple procedure you can do on your phone to get any Pending Minutes you may have coming. Pending minutes means that the minutes have been issued but the phone may not have received them for reasons such as the phone was turned off, low signal strength, out of your service area, etc. Follow the instructions bellow depending on what phone you may have:

If you have the Motorola C139 then do the following:

1. With your phone on, press the 'Menu' button located on the center of the arrow keys.

2. Press 'Select' on the Prepaid menu.

3. Using your arrow keys, navigate to the 'Redeem Airtime' menu and press the 'Select' button three times.

4. 'Card #' will appear on your screen. Enter the numbers '555' and press OK

5. Keep your phone turned on and your pending minutes should be received.

6. If you still do not have your minutes after waiting a little while, call Safelink customer service

If you have the Motorola W175 then do the following:

1. Press the Menu button located in the middle of the arrow keys to get to the 'Prepaid' menu and press 'Select'.

2. 'Add Airtime' will be highlighted, press 'Select'.

3. Enter the numbers '555' then press ok.

4. 'Have a Promotional Code?' will be displayed, press the key below 'No' and you will see a confirmation message.

5. Keep your phone turned on and your pending minutes should be received.

6. If you still do not have your minutes after waiting a little while, call Safelink customer service 1-800-378-1684.

Note: Doing the above will not give you any free minutes if you do not have any pending. Doing this over and over will most likely temporarily Disable your phone and you will need to call Safelink customer service to re-enable, so I recommend you only do it once if you are not sure if you have pending minutes.
