Which is Better Tracfone, Net10 or Straight Talk?

Tracfone offers the absolute best Per Minute rate on their 450 minute card when you have the Double Minutes for life plan. However, many customers like myself, opt for the best Monthly rate because of their usage habits. For example, I use Net10 because I don't use my phone much more than 80 minutes each month, Net10 offers a plan that fits that for just a little over $10 a month. Use this guide to determine which is best for your usage habits.

-Tracfone always offers 90 days of service on all cards, the exception being the 1 year card.

-Net10 uses a variable service date system. The more minutes you buy, the more service days you receive.

**Service Days: Service days are the number of days that you have before you need to purchase another card. Many customers are confused by this and believe they will keep getting minutes as long as they have service days. This is NOT the case with either Tracfone or Net10. Example: if you buy 1000 minutes with Net10, you will get 180 days of service, this means that at the end of 180 days you need to purchase a new card whether you have used your 1000 minutes or not.
